The lifetime of the battery is affected by a number of factors such as:
The selected brightness of the screen
The use of accessories such as the heart rate belt or speed / cadence sensor
Capturing your track on a more frequent interval on Outdoor devices
Prolonged exposure to the sun or heat
When the appliance is on charge unnecessarily long or unnecessarily often, the battery can become 'lazy'. You can extend the battery life in many cases using the instructions below.
1. Allow the battery on the device to discharge completely.
2. Charge the unit for 48 hours consecutively.
3. Once again allow the unit to completely discharge.
4. Charge the unit for 5 hours or until it reaches 100%
Furthermore, we recommend that you check if your device has the latest software, to ensure that the device is running at optimal capacity.
Finally, a performing a Master Reset on the device every now and then can ensure that there are no corrupt files other issues with the device.
